Welcome
There is a Place for You Here
Whether you are a lifelong Episcopalian, entirely new to church, or exploring faith from a different background, there is a place for you here. Joining our church family is straightforward and free of hoops to jump through.
Here’s how.

Becoming Part of the Community
Come as you are
Join us for worship. Fill out the card in the pew rack. Hang out afterward for fellowship. We look forward to getting to know you.
Connect with Dean Kendra Wilde
You’ll find her at the door right after church. Let her know you’re interested in making this your spiritual home. We would love getting to know your story over a casual cup of coffee.
Already an Episcopalian?
We can easily request a letter of transfer from your previous parish.
From another tradition?
Your baptism is fully recognized here. We can help you officially register as a member here.
New to faith?
We regularly offer casual, engaging “Episcopal 101” sessions to explore baptism, confirmation, and the basics of our tradition in a low-pressure environment.
Getting integrated
Please contact the Cathedral Administrator, Lori, to get a nametag, a pictural directory, added to email distribution lists for the monthly Cathedral Times newsletter and the weekly Happenings.
Sundays at St. Peter’s
What to Expect on Sunday
Expect a warm welcome, an engaging, thoughtful message, and a service rooted in beautiful, ancient traditions that still speak to modern life.
We like to say that our worship involves the whole person, so you will see people sitting, standing, and kneeling at various times. Please know there is no “wrong” way to be here, and you are welcome to participate at whatever level feels comfortable to you.
Our congregation is a diverse community where questions are honored, everyone is valued, and the dress code is simply whatever makes you feel like you.
Above all, our table is open, and there is a place reserved just for you.
On a more logistical note, you may park along Park Ave, on Placer Ave, or in our parking lot immediately behind the Cathedral which may be accessed via the alley behind the YWCA off of W Placer Ave.
