The little thrift shop that blesses
Located at St. Peter’s Episcopal Cathedral, the Bargain Basement offers clothing, household items, and seasonal goods in a welcoming setting that supports the wider community.
Whether you are shopping, donating, or volunteering, the Bargain Basement is one more way St. Peter’s extends care and connection beyond the cathedral walls.

What we accept
The Bargain Basement sells clothing (men's, women's and children's), shoes, accessories, home goods, jewelry, small furniture and appliances (small enough to be moved by one female volunteer). All items must be in good working condition. All battery operated items must contain batteries.
No large appliances, TVs, heavy gym equipment, large furniture, mattresses or box springs, bed frames (only small metal frames that fold down), stereos, computers, or computer components.
Donated items must be clean, free of pet hair, and not smell of smoke.
We especially welcome seasonal items. On October 1, we begin taking fall and winter items only. On March 1, we begin taking spring items. The Christmas room opens on November 1 each year - we accept most Christmas items except for large Christmas trees.
Payment
Our customers deserve the highest level of support, and we work tirelessly to maintain those standards. When you choose to work with our team, know that you are consistently choosing quality and excellence. Customer service is at the heart of everything that we do.
Volunteer
The Bargain Basement is always in need of more volunteers. You can work as little as one day a month and work is non-strenuous. We always work in pairs and share delightful conversations.
